Artful Gallery is an artist run collective based in Melbourne, Australia and consists of three independent professional Australian artists; Geoff Cunningham, Laurie Franklin & Min Ray.

Our collective's unifying element is our fascination and exploration of the Australian landscape, it's flora and fauna. Each artist uses different techniques to delve into Nature, creating thought provoking art that captures the power and beauty found in Australia.

Common threads are "layering"  - Laurie Franklin layers acrylic, charcoal, pastel, metallic gold and copper to create emotive abstracted landscapes, whilst Geoff Cunningham's hand cut stencils create realism through the use of multiple layers of spray paint. Min Ray's hard edge geometric abstraction is hand painted in several layers, where she embraces the colours and patterns she finds in nature and translates these into thought provoking abstracts. This colour palette flows into Geoff Cunningham's that capture Australian birds in their full glory.

Each artist brings their unique style, exhibition experience and talents to make this a dynamic collective. Artful Gallery showcases diverse styles from geometric abstraction, monochrome impressionism, and stencil art inspired stories, memories and places.
